Design Approach

Our goal is to engage you in the design project from start to finish. First, we visit with you to get to know you. We receive any information you have, from general space requirements to rough sketches, photos and ideas. But don't be concerned about how prepared you are. Some people arrive a the first meeting with only vague notions of what they want. Others arrive with folders full of drawings and pictures and floor plans, We enjoy working with whatever you provide for us.

Next, we generate a floor plan and the initial elevations, which show you the exterior look. After you review these first drawings and make changes, we use those changes and subsequent ones to develop a final plan. To accomplish this, we may use three-dimensional images to help you see what is emerging. We might also consult with contractors, engineers and suppliers. We continue to meet with you until we are both satisfied. In the end you receive a set of construction plans that will meet your needs, as well as all requirements for inspections, review boards, cost estimates and construction.
